UPDATE ON DAD: Leslie Robert Waggoner III, Ruth Waggoner, Gail Ellen Staples, Wendy Strahan Davis, David Waggoner... Just got off the phone with Donna Waggoner. Gail she home briefly. She said to try and call her after 8 pm. She is sorry she missed your call! She said to tell all of the kids that she loves us very very much! Dad is resting comfortably in a drug induced coma. She said that this is the best she has seen him sleep in a very long time. She spends as much time as she can with dad and comes home to rest. She is headed back there in a little bit. Hannia Gonzalez is helping her greatly as Donna cannot speak Spanish. The doctors said they were not God so could not say that dad would die, but it was a good probability to prepare for. Dad was stubborn and did not want to go to the doctor but Donna made executive decision when she realized just how sick he was and she called an ambulance to take him to the hospital. There is no improvement from last night...but there also is not any further decline at this point. We just need to continue to pray. Donna said that dad was not scared as they explained how ill he was and what they were about to do by placing him on the vent. That helps my heart. I know that he loves God and had developed a relationship with God...as I had asked him where he stood with Jesus if something were to happen. His not being afraid was a good sign to me his heart was right with God. Loved you all very much and I will try to keep everyone updated. Maybe Gail and I can take turns making the calls to help keep the phone costs down. If that will work Gail please let me know and we can make a schedule. God bless us all and especially our dad at this time.
