UPDATE ON GLETTY ROAD CLOSING Sandwich Police have re-opened Gletty Road between County Line Road and Route 34. Gletty Road was closed overnight because of an accident just north of County Line Road that occurred around 7:15 Sunday evening. Crews from Commonwealth Edison replaced a telephone pole across from Arneson Tire Center that was knocked down during the accident on the icy road. Power is back on in the Woodlake Landing subdivision near the Sandwich Airport. The power had been out because of the accident. Gletty Road is still ice-covered and hazardous, as are other secondary roads in the WSPY listening area. Hoxey Road between Somonauk and Serena is especially icy. Drive with CARE!
