UPDATE ON LEWISTON METH LAB: A Lewiston couple have been arrested after drug agents found the makings of a methamphetamine lab inside their apartment. Charged with trafficking in methamphetamine is 51 year old Ethel Hallock and 45 year old Mark Theriault. Hallock was arrested Monday evening and Theriault was charged about 2 a.m. Tuesday. The two live together in the apartment at 212 Pond Road. The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said evidence of meth manufacturing was found on the first floor and in the basement of the two unit apartment house. The couple had been under investigation for several weeks. When agents served a search warrant Monday evening, there were seven people in the building, including three children under the age of 14. The building was evacuated, including the residents of the second floor apartment, who were not involved in the meth investigation. Assisting drug agents were the Lewiston police and fire departments, The US Drug Enforcement Administration and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.
