UPDATE ON LIAM- All GOOD news:).... FINALLY I think we finally got everything figured out, I say we because it was my suggestions that helped the doctors figure out and treat the problem. Besides being a little fussy because of medicine and food changed all Liams test are mostly perfect now. I have a meeting tomorrow with all his doctors, social worker, CARE team and the surgeon and depending on how that goes we may be able to come home Friday. If we decide to go ahead with the surgery right now then we will stay a little longer. I am very happy that my child is better. But it is hard for me to express that happiness at the hospital because there are so many other kids that dont get to go home soon, who are waiting for transplants, have a infection in their blood that wont stop spreading or have cancer. It is very hard for me to feel joy when all these others kids are suffering and that my friends is why I am going into the pediatric medical field:). So I am trying to come up with something nice to do for all the kids before I leave. I was thinking of getting them all a toy, movie, book or something small and would love for everyone to help. If you have any unopened toys or movies or would like to buy and donate something let me know. Everything must be new and in the box because of germs, a lot of these precious babies are on contact isolation to prevent them from catching a cold or the flu. I would like to hand everything out by Friday because I dont know how much longer we will be in here.
