UPDATE ON MAWMAW: Ive been out of the FB loop for a few days. Sorry if Ive missed an inbox message or havent replied to a comment. Its been crazy and Ive been super busy trying to keep things together and running smooth between the babies, the house & mostly the restaurant since they admitted Mawmaw. Kinda took us all by surprise, so we werent prepared at all. This past week has been a big blur! We do truly appreciate the outpouring of prayers & support. Granny is now at UMC in Jackson & she said its super nice & Pawpaw is enjoying the nicer amenities which make for a more comfortable stay for them both. They were told yesterday that she will be there for at least 6-8 weeks. When she was at Community, they done chest X-rays and it showed she had pneumonia. UMC done a few more of their own instead of accepting that report and it showed there that she didnt have it!! So were giving God the glory in that healing!! Theyre also redoing all the other test...like the bone marrow test and platelet test to have a 2nd opinion & be sure before starting treatments. Waiting on those results now. We know all your prayers are making a difference. She was feeling better yesterday. They were given a pass on parking that discounted it to $1 a day from the usual $10 a day, so that will be a huge savings for them when you realize they will be there for up to 2 months! Huge blessing!! Were planning to go and visit Sunday (tomorrow) and check on her. If anyone wants to send cards or anything to encourage her, youre welcome to drop them off at Nikkis Family Restaurant today (until 2pm) & Ill be sure to get them to her tomorrow. :) I know she would enjoy hearing from you all! Thats her passion in life...PEOPLE! Keep the prayers going up for her as she continues to stay strong and fight. The devil cant keep a child of the King down! Imogene Robin is rock solid in her faith and her trust is in Him! Thanks for being there for her.
