UPDATE ON MINNIES APPT...Minnie is home after going to the holistic vet and she is tired! The doctor was very good and did some gentle chiropractic movements, pressure point release, stretching of the spinal muscles and laser therapy. She spent a good amount of time working on her. She would like us to get Xrays to be sure there is no fracture, which is why she did not do any major manipulation yet. If there is a fracture she will just continue with what she did today. If not, she will continue with what she is doing and add stronger manipulations as well. Just so everyone is aware since we are using the auction money, the cost for today was $382.47 but this covers 6 laser appointments since we paid for a package(takes $11 of each one to do it as a package). We will still need to pay $61 each time for each Chiropractic adjustment but she may not need too many...its hard to tell right now. We also purchased a bottle of Neuroplex, made by Standard Process, to help with nerve firing. Its supposed to be a very good supplement so we will be giving it to Auggie as well. One bottle lasts only 7 days. I get people that often ask if there is anything we need and this would be it...so I added several bottles of this supplement to our Wishlist in case anyone would like to help. So, needless to say, the $1000 made from the auction will be gone soon since we just used $250 of it for Brindy the other day. We are extremely grateful to all of you for helping and we would not have gotten this far, if not for you. I wish I could say that we dont have to do anymore fundraising but unfortunately that is not the case. Minnie and Auggie need quite a bit of extra care. We are going to try to offer things for donations so that you get something as well. I(mama) do not really like just doing fundraisers to ask for money even though I know many of you say that I should. We will do our best to try to do auctions and sell things first.
