UPDATE ON MY MOM As many of you know, my mom has extensively metastasized lung cancer. On New Years Day she had a stroke. She is improving and able to articulate and get around but she will no longer be treated for the cancer, only palliative care. She is still very much in the present and with it, even if she cant get the words out sometimes. Her pain is controlled and we are enjoying each other and the company of our loved ones. Seems like there is so much more to say but the words wont come. Instead I will quote one of my favorite lyrical poets: Quiet your mind, soak it all in, its a game you cant win, ENJOY THE RIDE (Zac Brown) We are taking it one day at a time. Thank you all for your support, encouragement and love, it matters more than you know. My wish for you is to enjoy the ride.
