UPDATE ON SHIRAZ: Once I picked him up from transport, I took him straight to the clinic where he had a skin scrape, vaccines, etc. He was also sedated to be shaved down since his skin is so sensitive, no point in hurting him or stressing him out with a warm razor blade on that tender skin. His skin scrape came out high positive for Sarcoptic Mange. As if that was not enough, he tested POSITIVE for heartworms. He is only 1 year old!!! This boy will have a long recovery!
