UPDATE ON THE NEW TRAFFIC LIGHTS SYSTEM ON A666 and HOLLINS GROVE Hello Paul I just wanted to send you a quick update on the traffic problems weve had on the A666, following the installation of the new traffic lights at Hollins Grove. Earlier this week I met with the Leader and Chief Executive of the Council and raised our concerns and told them that 1,500 people had signed our petition in less than 24 hours, calling for the chaos on the road to end. Following our meeting, they agreed to make changes to the traffic system which will give more green time to the A666 and for CCTV to be up by the end of the week so that the system can be monitored and controlled. I have been past the lights a few times in the last couple of days and the traffic now seems to be easing. Please let me know if you dont see an improvement and I will go back to the Council and ask them to look at other options.
