Kajang police chief ACP Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab who confirmed the case but declined to divulge details said a press conference will be held by Selangor acting police chief SAC Datuk A.Thaiveegan at the district police headquarters tomorrow regarding the case. Lam, 68, who was accompanied by his wife, was seeking treatment at the clinic when a group of four robbers armed with machettes barged in. The businessman who is licensed to carry a firearm fired four gunshots at a robber when he attacked him despite being warned to leave the place at gunpoint. Upon seeing the robber collapse, his accomplices fled on foot abandoning their getaway car that was stolen from another clinic robbery in Bandar Mahkota a day earlier.
