UPDATE ON WASTE REMOVAL Waste was not removed as per usual schedule the past two weeks. We sincerely need to apologise for this inconvenience. We need a fleet of at least 12 trucks to provide a full service as well as three load luggers for bins. We only have one load lugger in operation and as of yesterday we were operating with 7 compactor trucks instead of 12. Last week seven of our trucks broke down and we were down to 3 trucks for nearly a week. We are doing our utmost to: 1. get all trucks back to full strength 2. catch up on the backlog. The teams with available trucks are working to catch up and will continue over the weekend as well. If possible do not leave your bags overnight or on the ground. At this stage I can not give you an exact schedule but I am hopeful that we will be on our normal schedule next week again.
