UPDATE: One of the three drivers hit on the bypass this morning has been identified by police as Joseph Quick, 61, of South Bend. Quick is believed to have been struck by another vehicle while he was outside of his car. Medical staff at Memorial Hospital say he is in critical condition with injuries to his head, spine and leg. Police believe the vehicle that hit him drove off after the incident.
