UPDATE: Over the last few days, Israeli population centers have been targeted by rocket fire from Gaza, and the Israel Defense Forces have launched Operation Protective Edge, with the aim of restoring stability to Israeli civilians. The safety and security of Masa Israel Journey program participants, staff and partners is our top priority. We are in close and continuous contact with all of our programs and with the Home Front Command to monitor the situation. We are instructing all Masa Israel programs to update participants regularly regarding security and safety procedures and to ensure access to shelters in case of civil defense alarms. Masa Israel is also working with program directors to make psychological and educational resources available as needed. These are difficult days for Israel and for Jewish communities around the world.
