UPDATE: Per scanner traffic, there was a power surge in Waynesboro and a transformer blew/fire shooting out of it. Numerous residences and businesses and a church had either fire shooting out of receptacles, breakers blown, smell of smoke and or power outage (at least for a small period of time). The fire departments responded to these addresses to do investigations. No working fires reported. Allegheny Power has been notified and will be responding
