UPDATE REGARDING POPPY SELLING AT MEMBURY Dear All I have just received a phonecall from Royal British Legion HQ and they have told me that Membury Services (only) are allowing Lambourn and Hungerford RBL collectors to be stationed at Membury from today until Sunday 9th November. I do not know why this only applies to Membury but I suspect it is because of Social Media back-lash and Membury staff lobbying the local management. The manager at Membury has always been fully supportive of RBL collectors but has had to bow to his Head Office instructions. PLEASE, if you are still available to collect at Membury Services (Westbound) as previously planned then please could you do so. Forget about house-to-house and street collecting, Membury will be far more lucrative/productive. Please could you let me know what you intend to do. Those of you who have offered to go to MOTO Chieveley this week - if you still can do this and want to then please do so. Please keep me in the loop on what you decide. I can only apologise for all this confusion and confirm that it is nothing at all to do with Lambourn Royal British Legion.
