UPDATE SF ANGEL ADONIS: 09/24/14 MOVIN ON UP We are absolutely elated to post this update! Things could not possibly be going better for the star-charge! Adonis elimination abilities have been completely restored!!!! His life quality depended on these very issues. He is not having any problems with his bathroom routines. He began urinating without any difficulty yesterday and we believe this may be attributed to both the reduction in inflammation of his prostate and also a possible slow regeneration of his nerve function that innervates the urge to go. We are certain he is quite likely more delighted about this improvement than we since he no longer require frequent urinary catherizations. This is probably the hurdle that was most important, obviously other than being able to ambulate. His spine is no longer visible and is covered with viable healthy tissue. The wound is becoming smaller in size every day and quite likely will be reduced in half in a week or less. Adonis is still receiving antibiotics and good pain management. He still hates his cone but is learning to live around the albatross. His appetite remains remarkable and his dessert of choice, Nutter Butters is still the highlight of his day. He is now able to run the yards and do what all good boy dogs do, mark every possible blade of grass and every once in a while expresses his bravado to neighbouring dogs. We have moved the guy into our large recovery room, reserved for celebrities only and the very first thing he did, was get on the bed and make it his own. We just checked, and he has not moved. Looks like we make be carrying his adorable butt out of there tonight in order for him to have his walk. Parting comment, we are overwhelmed at the amount of support that Adonis has received. We cannot thank you enough but the one thing we would implore you to do, and we know he would as well, if you know about animal abuse, it is incumbent upon you to make this known. If you, yourself cannot do it, tell a friend. They have no voice, they cannot tell, they cannot effect the outcome, they are entirely helpless. HELP THEM!! It is owed them! -Anne
