UPDATE: Satan (Rotti Mix), Cujo (taller Belgian Malinois) Tango (shorter Belgian Malinois). Satan, Cujo and Tango came to Collective K9 for their serious pack dynamics that left one pack member (Cujo with 57 stitches) and the other pack member unfortunately had to be put down. The pack, as a whole, suffers with issues ranging from dog aggression, people aggression and territorial issues stemming from insecurities, fears, and structural miscommunication. Collective K9s mission is to build the packs confidence by first successfully integrating them into our balanced pack. Many believe the only way to achieve these results is by using dominance style training, old fashion training techniques, like the abandonment theory, and harsh correction (LOL); however that is far from the truth. Here at CK9 we pride our selves on education. With this group of dogs we are using positive reinforcement and counter-conditioning to promote trust to create a positive connection within the pack. Next, we will use the security of the pack to help Satan, Cujo and Tango overcome their insecurities of people that has led to the expression of aggression. These dogs are doing great!
