UPDATE: Scan results in! MIBG looks good and so does the CT. The CT shows some swelling on his right side but they believe its just post op swelling and nothing alarming. They also tested his LDH level in his blood. When amplification is present the levels are usually over 1000. At diagnosis Pierces were at 550. They are even lower now at 370. A very good sign! As of now we are waiting for bone marrow results, which we expect to be clear, and the MYCN test results. Even if he is found to be amplified in their terms, they will hold off on treatment since scans look good and do another set of scans in 6wks! Theres a ton that goes into them coming to this decision to just watch and see but theres no way I can explain it all. Just know that Alex and I feel extremely confident in this decision. God has given us a peace that only HE can give. Pierce is in GREAT hands at MSK and ultimately hes in the Almighty Healers hands ❤️
