UPDATE: Smash got the tube out of the side of her chest (for the escaped air outside her lungs a few days ago), She also got the neck line for her plasma exchange removed. NO MORE PLASMA EXCHANGES! Shes still asking for cough assist, and her respiratory therapist said That it just amazes him that she asks for it, in 12 years of his experience, shes the only child to ask for it. Her breathing is still being supported by bipap, as her left lung still remains slightly collapsed. This is the Transverse Myelitis showing through. She has more strength in her left foot and leg and we are in the path for a 4/20 ICU release. .. just in time to celebrate her baby brothers b-day. Ill take that happy on that day!
