UPDATE: So, Ive just been given the all-clear from my bone marrow biopsy!!!!! No cancer/Leukemia. No bone marrow scarring. No chromosome damage. I have a disorder which is causing my bone marrow to produce way too many platelets. And that will require me to be on a low-dose chemotherapy for the rest of my life (already been doing that for the last two weeks -- first week made me want to die, but then we moderated the dosage and frequency). Its a little bit of a bummer, but the bone marrow scarring would have been a 5-year death sentence, so… Im very happy with this scenario! Plus, I now have every intention and hope of developing a super power -- thank you, chemo!!!!
