UPDATE: State Police in Kittanning have released the name of the former caretaker accused of stealing money for himself. His name is James Howard, 46, of Kittanning. They say he worked there for 10 years and most people did the transactions through him because he was there everyday. So far, State Police say there are victims that paid as far back as 2008 and as recently as August 2014. They paid him $60 to $2,000 dollars. If you paid for a plot in Kittanning Cemetery and never got a deed for it, contact State Police in Kittanning at (724) 543-2011. The cemetery will honor all purchases.
