UPDATE: The 1st truck which left Manila Nov. 12 (Tue), arrived today Nov. 16 (Sat) 1030am at St. Bartholomew Church in Catbalogan, Samar! :-) Fr. Cesar Aculan was on hand to receive & facilitate the repacking of the goods by the many Catbaloganon volunteer groups. It contained the 1st batch of donated goods, such as 37 boxes of assorted canned goods & 2,600 bottles of mineral water. The 2nd truck, currently at Matnog waiting for Ro-ro clearance but should be arriving tonight/tomorrow, contains the 2nd batch of goods: 7,800 bottles of mineral water & medicines/medical supplies for approx. 2,000pax. These goods shall soon be making their way to the small towns of Samar affected by Typhoon Yolanda. We appreciate all your help in making Operation: BULIG KITA! a success! Keep the donations coming!
