UPDATE: The dog has been found and she is back with her owners. * * * A local resident has sent us this: There has been a house fire in the Shalford Road/Harwick Road area of Olton. When the fire brigade attended the house was unoccupied and when they forced entry, a Yorkshire Terrier escaped from the house. It ran down Shalford Road across Barn Lane and into the park. It was last seen leaving the park towards Rock Grove/Rock Road/Pierce Avenue. A firefighter and a number of neighbours gave chase but he was too fast for us. If anyone in that area sees a small black dog, please try to get hold of him and get in touch with the fire service to get him back to his family. If anyone has any update, please share it. Thanks.
