UPDATE: The fire department came in and with their help, contacted a family owning acreage adjacent to the campground. With their help and a bunch of big strong men and thoughtful wishes our way, we were granted an exit only through their property. This very act of kindness allowed a large camper to return home as well as give many people a route to park on the other side of the washout. While the washout still exists and we hope to hear something very soon in regards to emergency assistance, we are definitely making lemonade out of lemons. We love yall and will continue to keep you updated when we know more. Thank you.
