UPDATE: The reward amount for the Macon shelter dogs is now at $18,000. $5,000 from the Atlanta Humane Society, $5,000 from the Humane Society of the United States, $5,000 from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and Macon Regional Crimestoppers is offering $3,000. On the night of Wednesday, October 16, 2013, a person or persons broke into a local no-kill shelter in Macon, GA, set all the bully breed dogs loose in the yard and forced them to fight. This resulted in the death of the three dogs below and injuries to many others. A reward of up to $18,000 is being offered for the arrest and conviction of those involved.
