UPDATE: They have Mom sedated again because she was a little agitated and needs rest. She had no radiation over the weekend, but is supposed to resume treatments today. She is the same otherwise...stable vitals, etc. My stepfather, Rob, has been admitted to the hospital as well. They are keeping him overnight for observation and testing after a dizzy spell. I have no further details at this point, but will update when possible. Please keep them both in your prayers. Rob has been nothing short of amazing in taking excellent care of my mother...and making sure all hospital personnel are doing so as well, lol. The ICU nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, etc have been awesome and extremely patient with us. Also, please keep both the Averett and Herring sides of my family in your prayers as we lost my great aunt on my Daddys side, and on my great uncle on my Moms side this past week...special prayers for my cousins who lost their mother/grandmother and father/grandfather.
