UPDATE: Tropical Storm Andrea UNCW continues to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Andrea in cooperation with our on- and off-campus partners. As of this morning, New Hanover County and UNCW are under a Tropical Storm Warning, upgraded from a Tropical Storm Watch. This means that winds in excess of 39 mph are possible in the next 24-48 hours. Tropical storm force conditions are expected for the Wilmington area on Friday, June 7. Classes and events are being held as scheduled.
