UPDATE: Unfortunately I have some upsetting news. Addies team in Boston have been reviewing her last scan. The pediatric surgeon has some serious concerns that the area of the tumor may be growing and there may be a lymph node involved as well. The team of doctors want to be 100% sure they are giving her every treatment possible to kill this monster. Derek, Shannon, and Addie are headed back to Boston this Sunday. She is scheduled for another PET scan on Monday, port placement on Tuesday, and then theyll travel to Fletcher Allen in Burlington to start chemotherapy. Shell receive a few rounds of chemo there (closer travel). Radiation and more chemo will be done in Boston after her first few rounds in Burlington. Then, another surgery... Please, I beg all of you, pray!!! Have to admit my faith is a little shaken right now but we need all the prayers we can get. Thank you all!!!
