UPDATE: We are needing prayers! Although, Kirk is doing better today and is officially no longer hooked up to anything, we got preliminary results on the mass that was removed with his native kidney and it is cancer. The surgeon is confident that he removed it all but they are still running tests and we wont know the extent of the cancer, its aggressiveness or anything for at least 10 days. He still has an IV but thats just for meds! His incision looks great and is starting to heal. He walked the halls, had a full liquid diet and tomorrow will be able to start real food Surgeon told us he thinks he might get to go home tomorrow if not for sure on Sunday!! Thank you all for your prayers as we figure out what this means and what the next steps are. We are so grateful and blessed with so many family and friends that truly just love us and want to help and pray! We couldnt do this without all of you!
