UPDATE:: We are sitting here waiting for Kristen to return to her room. The dr who preformed the surgery was very pleased with how it all went. The plastic surgeon, who wanted to amputate, thought the heel was all the way down to the bone. This was not the case which means the skin grafts can take. Please pray against heart surgery. Pray that the great physician will reach down and touch her heart and heal it. They keep saying that people who have her condition are usually sickly and she isnt. The other thing is if she didnt have to have any heart surgery the dr said he would clear her to go to rehab regarding her legs. We so want this to happen but we also dont want anything to bring us back here. One step closer to rehab, one step closer to home! Her heart surgery is tentatively scheduled for Monday at 6:45a. We are praising our Heavenly Father for once again pouring out his grace and mercy on our family!
