UPDATE from Wednesdays Wondering Teen (The one who wanted a strategy for winning her bestie back from another girl who seems to have taken Wonderings place.) My advice: There is no “strategy” to “winning someone back” who does not want to come back. Right? It’s her choice to spend time with whomever she wants. My best suggestion is this: Forget about “strategies”… forget about being “mean” to the other girl (There’s enough meanness in the world and you don’t need to add to it!) Instead, ask your bestie to do something with you and just you some time this week or next. In other words, schedule time together, just the two of you. If she wants to do that then make a date and have fun. If she wants to invite the other girl, you can simply say, “I want to spend time with just the two of us.” If she doesn’t want to do that, then you will see right then and there that you care more about this friendship than she does.
