UPDATE on Bart...Sheila, Jessica and I just returned after visiting several hours with Bart in Louisville. They have moved him to Frazier Rehab Center, 7th floor. Today is the first day they begin the physical therapy, speech therapy, etc...Bart is still very confused, and is in and out with knowing who you are. Yet, for the most part he knows you or he did me. I asked him who Sheila was, which they are very close and he looked at her and said,...Obama,...shocked,...then we laughed and laughed. Hopefully, the Nurse implied they are planning to take the trek out next week if everything continues to improve. I began reading and showing him all the cards we took, huge amount. He was particularly fond of the Kermit the Frog and kept it by his side till we left. Bart has always been able to do the rubic cube, when I handed it to him, he tried and after a few minutes, he stopped, looked at me and said,...I need a break. Bart was very witty, yet his health and injuries acquired are still very serious. Everyday is a blessing,..and with the continued prayers, hopefully he will progress daily...as he has shown everyone the Power of Prayer....again, the Peerce Family thanks you. I would also like to personally extend a huge, extra huge thank you to our youngest brother Philip. Though he works in Louisville and is able to be there when the rest of the Family cannot. Philip has gone over and beyond anything imaginable. giving his Family Christmas up for Bart, taking off from work to listen to the Doctors, and for taking charge of keeping everyone of us informed daily....Outstanding, Great, and a Blessing,...Thank you little brother!!! ap
