UPDATE on Dad: After 10 hrs, weve finally been moved to a room. Dad is stablized and pumped full of heavy pain meds, so the tears have ceased and he is in much, much better spirits. Hes already made friends with his new nursing staff and is sitting up, laughing, smiling and telling stories. The clots are being treated with blood thinners, but given his conditions, they dont expect to see much improvement for at least a week or so, and they said its a possibility that he could be kept for several weeks. However, we know weve come this far by faith, and as the old song says, Hes never failed me yet! Thank you for your prayers.
