UPDATE on Dave: Dave is fading fast. He may not have very many days left. I am scared! Daves brother Richard is here at the hospice care center with me Kobacker. He has been here since 11:30am n watched the OSU game with him while I went home to take a shower n get some things done around the house. When I got back Richard said he was throwing up bile n blood, ALOT of it, even though his stomach is only as big as an orange right now. Its coming from way down. From his liver n pancrease n small intestines. He said the nurse upped all his meds especially the morphine to help keep him comfortable. The dr was in this morning and ordered an IV drip called Octreotide to stop or at least slow down the bile from being made so he doesnt keep getting sick or at least not as often as he has been the past 3 - 4 weeks. Sometimes it is 5-6 times a day almost every hour on the hour. Unfortunately or maybe even fortunately once the hospice center starts this IV he will not be allowed to go home, the dr told Daves brother Richard his throwing up of blood n bile will just keep getting worse even though this IV drip is suppose to just slow it down, it wont be able to stop it from happening altogether. His sister Elaine come up here twice today. Peggy, my stepmother, was here yesterday afternoon and brought me some Burger King & a sprite bless her heart. Please pray for me n Dave, we are still praying for a miracle
