UPDATE on Penelope :: I actually recieved a call today about my lost puppy. I was so happy! Until... they asked if I was giving a reward, I said I was just kinda hoping someone would give her back out of the kindness of their heart seeing as Im newly pregnant, had a water pipe thing burst in my front yard that I now need to call a plumber for so as much as we love her, we dont really have anything to spare at the moment. The person I spoke to described her size perfectly, she asked me what kind of collar she was wearing and I should mention that this was a teenager or preteen that called me block, so instead I asked her no what color collar did you see. Again she described perfectly. So this person either has my puppy or knows who has my puppy... but because I cant afford a reward blew me off saying that if she sees my puppy again shell either call me or bring her back and hung up. The fact she offered to bring her back without asking me where I live to me suggests she already knows. Its sad this is most likely one of my neighbors... and if so Im scared to leave my other dog out and she loves being outside. Please, I dont know what else to do. Ive posted, Ive made flyers, so many wonderful people have shared my post trying to help us. We just want our baby back. Weve only lived here in Paducah for almost a year were from out of state... with this happening I throw in the towel. Im ready to go. Please.... if anyone has any information on our baby... we cant offer money.... we just want her home :( We live close to the library so Im thinking shes somewhere around here. So please, if your neighbor has a new dog that looks like her, contact me. Ill go check it out. Thank you so much for everyone who is/has helped find her :(
