UPDATE on hubby... Back from the appointment with the back doctor....good news and bad news... believes that the pain is coming from the hardware...4 screws and 2 rods.. rubbing up against the muscles and causing the relentless burning pain in the back... BAD NEWS...only way to get rid of the pain is to surgically remove the screws and the rods... soooo IN 2-3 weeks will have surgery again... only a 1 or so day stay... 1-2 week recovery period... so now the fun task of all of the blood work, ekg, chest xray, Doppler to rule out pre-existing dvt...yada yada yada... clearance from the medical doctor... but should go quickly... please keep him in your prayers... and me too... as he is driving me crazy lately...lol....
