UPDATE on the boy...I stayed home with him today to make sure he was fed and took his meds and got ice packs since he needed to stay as still as possible. Also spent the day emailing teachers and trying to talk with his school counselor about adjustments regarding his condition. His pain tolerance is like his mothers, which means he take a lot. He is uncomfortable but nothing he cant handle. He wants to try to go to school tomorrow which should be ok providing he is careful from getting bumped. Appointment on Friday with the surgeon.
