UPDATE on the job front----Dear Facebook Friends and Family---Several months ago I shared with you that after 18 years of dedicated service to Milford High School, I left behind my job in the classroom because I knew God had a different path that he wanted me to follow--I just did not know what that path would be. The last several months have been scary and exciting at the same time. I loved being a teacher, but I knew that God would provide me with an opportunity that I would one day love even more. Time and again, I have shared with you that I continue to walk by faith, even when I could not see what the future held, and I will be honest, sometimes it wasnt easy to do so, but I knew that as long as I remained faithful, so would God. I received a phone call this evening, and I have been invited to cross the threshold of the door that I believe God created and opened for me October 28th when I asked you all for prayer as I stepped out of my comfort zone and threw my hat in the ring trying something new. I can not share all of the details with you yet, but I will very soon. I will not be in front of the classroom, but I will be working in the field of education once again. I feel so blessed, so very very blessed, and so humbled by Gods faithfulness to me, a very simple, small-town girl longing to make a difference in the world. While I am excited beyond belief, the true glory and celebration belongs to God for without Him, I would not be off to begin a new adventure! YAY!!!!!
