UPDATED: Pair of Construction Projects will Disrupt Weekend Rail Service, Effective September 20-21 DART Rail customers may encounter delays due to back-to-back rail construction projects scheduled during the third weekend in September. Buses will replace train service at the times and locations listed below. Saturday, Sept. 20 - Start of service until approximately 12 midnight: Grade crossing construction on Ewing Ave. will require bus substitution on the Red Line between Dallas Zoo and Cedars stations with a stop at 8th & Corinth Station to permit Blue Line transfers. During the construction period, a train shuttle will operate between Westmoreland and Zoo stations. NOTE: These trains will be restricted to a single track in both directions, so northbound trains may arrive on the southbound track and vice versa; when this occurs, passengers will be given ample time to change platforms in order to board. Sunday, Sept. 21 - Start of service until approximately 8 p.m.: Red and Blue line service between West End and 8th & Corinth stations, including stops at Union, Convention Center and Cedars stations, will be provided by buses due to work on the overhead power supply. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience as we perform this important maintenance to your rail system. Thanks for riding DART. dart.org/rideralerts/fullra.asp?id=2224
