If there are any questions or concerns, please message us; we will be glad to go with a majority decision from the group. Please post a picture with a brief description and price of the item you wish to sell. Also, you may post a listing for something you are looking to buy. Common lingo includes OBO (or best offer) and ISO (in search of). And remember this is a yard sale group…all items should be listed at reasonable prices! Please keep in mind this group is in its early stages so it will not be perfect! Just like real yard sales, you’re going to have to search through some stuff you don’t care about in order to get to the good stuff! It’s part of the fun so you can either a) Embrace it b) Leave the group c) Start your own!:) If you have comments or concerns, I’m more than happy to listen just don’t post about it! Post are meant for yard sale items only, anything else will be deleted. Send me a private message, if it’s something everyone should know about, I’ll post it. OVERVIEW: Buyers can contact you and you are in charge of arrangements from there. Always arrange to meet people in a public place. Private messages are a great way to contact each other. Please be aware the under your “messages” there is another folder titled “Other.” Most times messages from people that you’re not friends with on your own Facebook will go to this folder. So be sure to check it! PLEASE wait at least 2 weeks before you relist or “bump” your post. (“Bumping” means you have commented on your own post so it automatically goes to the top of the news feed) Your post will be removed as will you! When commenting on a post, it helps to tag the person’s name to ensure they are notified. You can tag by simply typing the “@” button and their name will appear in scrolled selection. If you see something that you think is spam report it to us. Simply click on the photo and under “options” click report. I cannot tell who reports what, so don’t worry about hurting any feelings! To quickly browse through all items instead of scrolling through the news feed: Click the “Photos” tab located at the top of the home page. This will allow you to see all photos and albums that have been posted. Albums are listed first, scroll a little further and you will see individual photos. ADD YOUR FRIENDS TO THE GROUP! •No commercial ads! (This includes “work at home”, Avon, Mary Kay...Etc.) •Anyone is welcome to advertise their own actual yard sale •Local charity events ads are welcome •Anyone is welcome to post an ad for something they’re looking to buy •Failure to comply with these rules will result in me removing you from the group.
