UPPER HOUSE PAYS TRIBUTE TO SIR HENRY Several tributes were paid to Barbados newest knight Senator Professor Sir Henry Fraser who was conferred with the countrys highest honour, the Knight of St. Andrew in the independence honours. Deputy President of the Senate, Dean Harold Crichlow presented Sir Henry with two pieces of his own art work while members spoke glowingly of his work. Senator Esther Byer-Suckoo says Sir Henry has excelled in various fields including medicine, heritage and history and issues related to the environment. She lauded him for his work in making Bridgetown and its garrison a UNESCO World Heritage site. Opposition senator Wilfred Abrahams said Sir Henrys new title is well deserved.
