Of the sixty seven posts, nine posts are reserved for Scheduled Castes Candidates, four posts are reserved for Scheduled Tribes Candidates, eighteen posts are reserved for Other Backward Classes Candidates and remaining thirty-six posts are Unreserved. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: EDUCATIONAL: Master’s Degree in Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institute; or BE or AMIE in Electronics or Communication from a recognised University or Institute. DUTIES: Providing assistance to the Geophysicist in data acquisition, processing and interpretation of geo-physical data. Duty of a Geophysicist is to execute geophysical exploration pro- gramme in inaccessible remote areas and to conduct field work.
