URBAN REACTIVE DOG COURSE This six-week course is specifically designed for dogs who bark, growl, vocalise, lunge or otherwise behave poorly around other dogs while on leash. It is suitable for dogs who behave aggressively on leash or dogs who are hyper-motived to meet other dogs. This course is not suitable for dogs who behave aggressively towards humans or to other dogs when off leash. CLASSES OUTLINE: During this course we work with you and your dog to teach you: Handling techniques to decrease tension and reactivity The proper selection and use of equipment How to manage your dog during unplanned encounters with other dogs Obedience exercises to assist with overall control of your dog Behavioural modification techniques to reduce fear, anxiety and stress How to help your dog gain confidence and social skills We will show you how to build confidence, focus and impulse control in your dog, resulting in enhanced quality of life for you and your dog.
