I have been fighting with some morons on FB that think somehow we are scamming people because four rescues got together to fundraise Heurita and I now see this. My teeth are grinding and we have to start doing something right here right now. As my friend Stevi Paul says we are emptying the ocean with a teaspoon. So I need your help now with these guys, then I want us to start thinking as a group what the hell is our next steps because this must stop NOW. We must figure out a way to man and help the shelters with a Shelter Volunteer Corp and get Animal Control on the god damn streets (Blake Donovan my mentor). We do not want our police behind a desk so why the hell do we need all of Animal Control in the shelters instead down on the ground, knocking on doors providing spay and neuter certificates, putting dirt bags and scum of the earth in jail? We must partner with the shelters - our manpower is greater then the shelter employee base. Its not their fault but only we can make a difference. We need to form an ANIMAL CORPS LIKE THE PEACE CORPS. Its our fault, we do not speak we are guilty, remember the the old AIDS slogan SILENCE=DEATH I WANT THESE KIDS OUT NOW.
