URGENT - RESCUE ONLY: Sammy ~ 1 yr old, unalt male, 58 lb Sammy is a darling guy. Hes very shy in his kennel and just quivers when its time for a walk. Once outside, Sammys personality blossoms - ready for tail wags and kisses. He likes to stay close to your side for attention and was trying to hide himself behind me rather than go back into the shelter. Sammy was assessed off leash with a male and female dog and did very well - low energy with gentle play. He was shy and nervous at first, but friendly and soft, and would flourish with continued playtime. Unfortunately Sammy came to our shelter after he got into a scuffle with the household cat, who was killed in the process. Due to bite history, Sammy is available for rescue only and needs immediate rescue. Urgent - rescue only: Shadow - 11 yr old, neutered male - 11 lbs Shadow is a senior longhaired Chi-type mix. He is very scared at the shelter and will bark and growl defensively in his crate. Once outside, Shadow starts to relax but needs a quiet home environment where he can decompress. Shadow appears healthy, but does have cherry eye in his right eye. He was surrendered because the family was moving and just wants to get back into a home where he can relax!
