URGENT: Any aspies knowledgeable about legal issues regarding eviction, finding places to lives, and getting financial help for disabilities in New York, USA? Ive been attempting to assist a family (all on the autism spectrum, one has epilepsy) who were illegally evicted and are now homeless. I launched a fundraiser for them a month ago and shared it EVERYWHERE, and it hasnt gotten them a single penny. Im a college student so theres only so much I can do. Id really appreciate it if a couple people could jump onto this case and help out. They need it badly. I was thinking of launching a petition on Change.org, hoping that online signatures from enough people might get them help. But Im not sure as to what the specific goal would be from a legal standpoint. If you have any knowledge or advice at all, please comment below!!
