**URGENT** FOR ELDERLY DOGS IN AUSTIN-TX, NEED RESCUE/FOSTER/ADOPTER ASAP!!!..TOMORROW IS THEIR LAST CHANCE!!!..PLEASE SHARE!!!..this is he plea: The owners are moving and cannot keep this elder pair. They are taking them to the shelter tomorrow. That will be three strikes right off that bat for them! Owner dumped, elder and negative kennel space. A friend of theirs has reached out to us for help in circulating their faces. PLEASE SHARE far and wide, they do not have much time. They do not have to go together. Information on the dogs: Peanut is a female hound mix. She is black with white feet, a white blaze on her chest and face. She probably stands about 32” high, or to mid-thigh. She is “prissy” and doesnt necessary like to play, but is very affectionate. She hails from College Station originally. She is house-broken and knows how to sit on command (right now she needs to be reminded since she hasnt been worked with much lately). She is approximately 10 years old. She is very tolerant of children and has never bitten or harmed anyone ~ ever. If she is in the back yard and sees a stranger, she can sound fierce, but is really very calm. She is dog friendly. Rascal is a male; ¾ blue heeler and ¼ border collie. He is verrrry fat. He has a long-haired coat that is mixed in color. He is close to Peanut’s height, but maybe a little bit shorter, and much wider! He likes to play fetch but tires easily due to his size. He, too, is house-broken and knows how to sit on command but needs to be reminded like Peanut. Rascal is about 8 years old and has never been without Peanut. They are a great pair together. Rascal loves children and is very tolerant. He will allow children to lay all over him, pull his tail and ears and just loves to be paid attention to. He has never bitten or harmed anyone ~ ever. He can sound ferocious if protecting his turf from a stranger, but like Peanut, if they come to the fence and make “friends” and are no longer strangers, then he’ll want to play. Rascal was born in Elgin, Texas. He is dog friendly Both dogs are “talkers”. Especially Peanut. She “talks” quite a bit ~ it might be misconstrued as sounding like “crying”, but if you “talk” back to her, you can have a regular doggie conversation. She has a lot to say. Sarah and J used to bathe them frequently and allow them to stay in the house. They do not chew on furniture or carpet or toys, etc. They like to have their own throw toys/balls, etc. for outside. Please email Kristy if you can help: kristy.mckinney@urs. THIS IS SUPER URGENT!!! MERCY LORD, WE NEED A MIRACLE FOR THS PAIR!!
