URGENT FOSTER NEEDED! Meet Phoenix, a 2 year old, spayed, Lab Mix, rescued by our friends at the Camp Pendleton Vet Clinic! She originally came into the clinic with a sore on her nose. She was found to have an autoimmune skin condition that is very treatable. Her previous owner medicated her for a short time but then stopped all treatment and allowed Phoenix to become scabby, crusty, and dirty. A few months later, the owner brought her in to be euthanized because she could not treat this simple condition. The vets did not have the heart to end the life of a sweet animal with a very livable condition. She is a very sweet dog who enjoys walks and likes children and is good with other dogs as well! She is staying at the clinic currently, but she caught Kennel cough and therefore can not be around the military dogs anymore. If someone can please take her in until her Kennel cough has been healed - the clinic will supply all meds for her. Please only people with no other dogs because of the danger of contamination - the vaccine doesnt protect 100% and we dont want to risk it. She is an adorable dog who deserves a loving owner!
