URGENT FOSTER PLEA: We are partnering with You Lucky Dog Rescue to try and pull these two male Mastiff mixes from a local kill shelter. If either organization can find fosters for these dogs we will be able to prevent them from being put down. Rescue teams went down yesterday to evaluate them and they found them to not be aggressive at all - just scared, confused & unsure. In a good foster home with the proper leadership & training, we think they would blossom into confident, socialized dogs. They just appear to be somewhat un-socialized right now, and lacking in self-confidence. The lighter / gray-tan brindle one is more outgoing in his run, while the darker brown brindle one is less sure in his run. But, after we had the darker one out, he would then come up to us in his run, wagging his tail. And, they both showed zero aggression towards other dogs as well - even when snapped and growled at by a little Chihuahua as we walked them both by his run.
