URGENT: HELP & HOMES NEEDED FOR STRAY CATS A chronic situation in Ballymore Eustace. Between 60 and 70 stray cats and kittens need to be trapped, neutered and released. Unfortunately the KWWSPCA funds cant stretch to doing this ourselves, and we are asking for cat lovers to consider giving some financial and/or practical help with this problem. We also need offers of homes - farm yards, stud yards, anywhere where they will still be fed but can live an outside life. These cats and kittens are being fed by two elderly gentlemen in a back garden in Ballymore Eustace. Most of them appear to be relatively healthy, although some are not, but they will all need to be checked by a vet, the older ones neutered, and then found new homes. The problem of stray/feral cats is a major one all over the country, but this one has to be sorted out quickly. Can anyone offer any help or suggestions as to where we could rehome some of these cats? Please call 087 6887136.
